Do you believe in God or do you believe that there is a God? As christians, we must believe IN God and LIVE in God. Living in God means to obey God. When we choose to follow Jesus, it means to follow His path and believe God in every situation we face.
19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. (Ephesians 1:19-21 NKJV)
Following Jesus is the foundation of our christian lives. A lot of christians follow Jesus, but they don't know how to live the life of a follower.
As Jesus followers, we are:
The salt and light of the world.
As Jesus followers, we have an impact on the world. But do you have an impact on the world? Are you the light and salt of the world?
Think about who you are on the outside and who you are on the inside.
Show love to other people.
Jesus always showed love to others throughout His life. But do you?
We should be like Jesus, showing love to ALL people.
9 As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.
10 Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

Look to yourself and ask yourself, 'Am I really a follower of Jesus?'
