Joyful Heart

Message by George Tjam (Wednesday 31 October 2018)

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. (James 1:2-8)

Living in the world we are in today, we experience different things. It is very easy for us to feel Anger, Trauma, Neglect, Ego, Unhappiness, Doubt and Hatred. We often get swamped with these feelings and overall, we end up feeling HAUNTED.

Sometimes you feel haunted in moments when you're trying to feel happiness and joy. Evil lures you in little by little, not all at one go, until you get to the point where you feel like you're haunted .The devil can't touch you, but he can make you feel things. He can't touch you so he makes sure that you feel those things. Evil attacks you through yourself by making you feel haunted. He chains your mind and soul so you feel "heavy."

33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NKJV)

Be joyful because He is the answer. He has overcome the world. You are no longer haunted because He is the light. Through Him, there is joy.

Why do we allow ourselves to be haunted? If you allow yourself to doubt Jesus, you will be haunted. Instead, let faith come in. With the armour of God on, you can kick away the negativity.

Whatever Jesus did, He did it joyfully.

Whatever you do, do it with a joyful heart.
