"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things." - Philippians 4:8 NKJV
You can cover up your outside, but you can't cover up what's happening on the inside.
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9 NKJV
Confess your sins and trust in Him. Believe and have confidence in God because when you confess to Him, you must have trust in Him and in the previously mentioned verse.
We have been saved by His grace. We need to have confidence in His grace and we need to walk confidently with God. We need to walk with Him in a new way. We've been set free and because of this, we have the confidence to walk away from sin because He saved us from them.
"as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God." - 1 Peter 2:16 NKJV
When you confess to God you are given freedom. But you must walk confidently with God because you are God's servants and not servants of the dark. Don't use God's freedom to do evil. You're only not enough when Jesus is not in your life. You're worthy to serve, as long as yout turn to God and serve with confidence.
"You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet," - Psalms 8:6 NKLV
Evil can attack you with a thought, but you need the confidence that Jesus is with you. We might know Jesus, but we might not have a personal relationship with Him. Through Him, we have the confidence to serve Him.
